Highlights of Term 3

Highlights Of Term 3
Term 3 was very challenging but I enjoy challenges;
during term 3 we did lots of art, including sharpie, dye, collage and pastel. I've also enjoyed cross country, I even got into North Otago's; but I didn't go because it was in Dunedin and I thought it was a bit far for a ten minute race.

There were many challenges, but one main one for me was working in loud environments with people distracting me. But now I have moved to Elite Special Forces, so I will be able to go and work in quiet spaces by myself. Another challenge for me was working in groups because I found it difficult to just work together and concentrate.

Throughout this term i've learnt many things like making mixed numbers and turning them into improper fractions. I’ve also learnt lots of things about my chosen career as Interior designer for my career studies inquiry.

I can’t wait for term 4 and what remains because we are going to be working closer with the year 7’s.

The Moon And God

The Moon And God
There used to be people who wondered about the moon, some people even thought that the moon was made out of the dairy product we know as cheese, before Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, the moon was a mystery to humans.

Some people relate the moon to god because they are both mysterious to humans, because people don't know much about the moon and God.

The moon reminds me of God because the moon shines bright just like God, even though you may not see God or the moon I know it’s always there.

Book Review - 26 story treehouse

26 storey treehouse
This book is the prequel of “The 13 storey Tree House”. The 26 Storey Tree House is written by Andy griffiths and is illustrated by Terry denton.This book includes new tasks for the boys to get through. At the start of the book Terry dropped his underpants into the shark tank to clean them, but the sharks eat the underpants and get badly ill, so Terry tells Andy, and Andy gets Jill to save the sharks. But Jill has to do “Aquapunture” (<- shark pun). Terry and Andy start talking about their pasts and how they met. This series is easy and quick to read but has little good describing words and is way too silly, but is good for a quick read.

Nothing in this book stood out to me, it was still really easy to read so its good for a quick read. Honestly it is to silly for my taste but i see why other children my age will like this book.

Obviously the creators of this series is trying to make it a comedy and an outrageous book for kids of all ages to read just for fun. There was no real message in this book, its just random the whole way through the book.

I would recommend this book for kids of all ages with a spontaneous and immature personality. This book has no specific gender so it’s enjoyable for girls and boys.
